In order to sell in foreign markets, you must have the necessary documents both in general and market specific. VAT, Preparation of Declarations and Contracts, LUCID, EORI, FISCAL, IOR and LUCID are the main documents that must be applied for and/or obtained. Content VAT: You must have a separate VAT (VAT) registration in each country where you will sell, without exception. So, if you are going to sell in 7 countries, you will have 7 VAT registrations. EORI: A unique identification system used by customs authorities for Amazon Europe & UK. For customs clearance, the EORI number must be written on your invoices. A post-Brexit EORI would be sufficient for the UK, and an EORI would be sufficient for the whole of Europe. By the way, a footnote: If you do not have a VAT registration, you cannot receive EORI. FISCAL: It is the official representative appointment required for France and Spain. IOR: It is the target country import representative. F-22: This is the license that makes it legal for you to do e-commerce in Germany. LUCID: It is the waste regulation based on extended seller liability, which is mandatory in Germany and France as of July 1, 2022. You can review all these documents and applications we mentioned in more detail on our Blog page or contact us directly for free expert support. We would also like to point out that IOR is and will remain a free service provided by Weex.
